Store has come a long way since Jeff took over ownership. Always a good experience and would recommend to anyone.
Incredible selection of saltwater and freshwater fish. By far the cleanest tanks and healthiest looking fish in the tri-state area. The owner is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly individual. Would recommend visiting to anyone who wants a wide selection of exotic fish that most pet stores do not have.
We went twice during published businesses hours and the store was closed. Made it in yesterday, but had a difficult time sorting out what was for sale and what wasn't. A lot of the stuff wasn't priced and the employee, Tom (I had to ask, you certainly couldn't tell that he was an employee), seemed to just throw out random prices - strange, but not terrible. However, after settling on a few corals and 1 fish, he told me that he couldn't sell me the fish for that price (it was clearly marked $60, right on the tank, only one of that fish) and that it would be $100. I was a little put off by this, but moreso by the rude and condescending attitude that he took, right in front of my son. We walked to the other aisle where I suggested another store to my 12 year-old; however, Tom interjected himself into our conversation with rude remarks - I was floored, I couldn't believe it. Not only did this place lose a $300+ sale that night, but I'll never give them any business. It's one thing to quibble over a few dollars, but to treat potential new customers so poorly just indicates a badly run business.
Nice and clean, staff very knowledgeable. Gave me really good advice on my 180 gallon African cichlid tank. Well worth the drive
